There is a misconception that being a mentor demands special skills and involves giving a lot of time without any gain. Nothing could be further from the truth.
We are currently working with several professionals helping them to enter the Canadian workplace where they can use the specialized skills and knowledge they have acquired. To achieve this they need to be able to talk to someone who knows the appropriate work environment. For as little as nine hours over a three-month period, you will have the satisfaction of helping the person succeed in their new country.
In addition, you will be developing and refining your coaching, communication and leadership skills, the skills that you will apply to other areas of your life. The possible benefits enhance your life, your employer and the community.
