"TRAILER TRASHED" FILM TRAINING PROJECT

Did you know that Canadians use 1.6 billion disposable coffee cups each year? That's a lot of garbage!

A group of 13 participants, along with 4 volunteer mentors, created short films to help the public to make the choice to stop using disposable cups. The films were entered in the "Trailer Trashed" film competition sponsored by the Recycling Council of BC.

MEEP would like to acknowledge the amazing contributions of MediaNet, especially Kirk Schwartz, for providing our clients and community members with this unique opportunity.

The following films were made by the participants in our film project:

Please Recycle by Fritz Schulze
Stop Waste by Xiaoman He
Spilt Milk by Linda Yeend
The Fortune is in the Cup by Samantha Rubin, Marianna Galstyan and Kristina Petrosyan
The Mug of War by Prashant Pednekar
Environmentalist Joe by Alexandra Rodriguez and Michele Walraven
Top O'Cups by Fabiola Arias
Be Responsible by Ali Zahra
Behind-the-Scenes Special by Tom Corcoran
