"TRAILER TRASHED" FILM TRAINING PROJECT
Did you know that Canadians use 1.6 billion disposable coffee cups each year? That's a lot of garbage!
A group of 13 participants, along with 4 volunteer
mentors, created short films to help the public to make the choice to stop using disposable cups. The films were entered in the "Trailer Trashed" film competition sponsored by the Recycling Council of BC.
MEEP would like to acknowledge the amazing contributions of MediaNet, especially Kirk Schwartz, for providing our clients and community members with this unique opportunity.

We are thrilled to launch our Green is for Everyone Multi-lingual Eco-Tips on the Radio Project!
We have created 30-second radio spots with easy, accessible tips that will to inspire the multicultural community to take action for the environment while at the same time saving money and making healthier choices for their families.
These tips will be distributed to multicultural and/or community radio stations in Victoria and Vancouver, and are available in four (4) languages: English, Spanish, Punjabi and Mandarin.
