We Serve You
The Employment Transitions and Coaching Program (ETCP) offers help in
finding work or looking for skills training for all Greater Victoria
unemployed residents who are:
- Immigrants
- New Canadians
- Visible Minority Canadians
- Refugee Claimants who have a valid work
permit.
Please note that the program does not serve non-permanent residents
such as foreign students, foreign workers, and visitors -
regardless of a valid work permit and/or eligibility to work in
Canada.

We help you with eligibility
check and application for programs and services from the Federal
Government of Canada such as Targeted
Wage Subsidies,
Job Creation Partnership, Opportunity Fund, and Skills Links.
These Federal programs
help
unemployed Canadians find employment, become self-employed,
or acquire skills training. More information about these Federal

Centre
Services
Computers are available for your use for resume
and cover letter preparation, career research
as well
as access
to job boards and Labour
Market Information. Users are able
to obtain one-on-one assistance as required.
The Resource Centre also offers a job posting board,
newspaper classified ads, hidden job postings,
and employment related resource materials. Eligible
job
seekers will have full access
to fax
and copy machines for
copying or sending resumes, cover letters,
and job applications.
