Assessment services
Financial assistance is available for qualified candidates for the following services:
Translation of documents, certificates, letters of reference, etc.
Assessment of foreign credentials through the International Credential Evaluation Service (ICES) or through a licensing body
Language, career management, and skills assessments
Individualized action plan
Prior Learning Assessment Portfolio (PLAR) development
Training
Financial assistance is available for qualified candidates for:
English language training, including private tutoring
Limited academic upgrading
Enhancement of technical skills, including computer courses
Career management skill and job search training
Criminal record check
Memberships to professional associations and unions
Free workshops, including English for Job Seekers and those related to job search
Workplace practice
Work with a mentor – get career advice and help from someone who is working in your own field
